SUMMARY:Website Camp Jinja 2021
DESCRIPTION:On Thur 9th and Fri 10th December\, 2021 volunteer developers will meet at The Innovation Village\, Jinja\, to design websites for startups and non-profit organizations. The theme of the event is ‘coding for charity’. \nAn event where startups\, non-profits\, and entrepreneurs doing great work in the local community are paired up with teams of digital professionals. Then over the course of a 2-day camp\, these teams will collaborate and build something amazing for their organization that will help them grow their outreach and positively impact how they contribute to the community. \n  \nUnlike before\, where website camps have been supporting only only NGOs\, during the Jinja 2021 website camp in partnership with the Innovation Village will in a special way support local businesses and startups too. \n  \nAt the beginning of the camp\, domain names will be registered for each of the startups /NGOs\, web hosting setup and WordPress software installed on the live servers. \nEach startup will then be paired with a developer to embark on designing the website with guidance and monitoring by the organizers. \n\n\n\n\nWORKSHOP FEATURES\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n No technical knowledge required –  HTML\, CSS\, JavaScript\, you don’t need to know anything – just basic computer literacy skills.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Teaching right from scratch – Like what’s a domain and how to purchase it?\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Limited Seats – So Guidance and Hand holding for everyone at each step.
