As soon as WordPress 5.0 officially hit the web in 2018, a growing number of developers started to re-code their plugins and themes for Gutenberg compatibility and Gutenberg friendly themes started to grow.

There are currently over 73.3 million active Gutenberg sites, and over 234 million posts composed using the Gutenberg editor, according to gutenstats.blog which has some interesting data around Gutenberg usage.
